4-Week-Old Baby Boy Suffers Swollen Eye and Bruised Face After Being Thrown from Car Seat as His Mom Was Attacked

A Detroit mom has claimed she and her 4-week-old baby were attacked by three women related to the child’s father after they allegedly lured her to a home by saying they wanted to see the infant
The woman, only named as Taylor, alleged her son was tossed onto the ground, suffering bruising and a swollen eye, while she was given a 10-minute beating, per Fox affiliate WJBK
It’s reported that the Detroit Police Department is expected to seek charges against the three women and hand the case over to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office
A 4-week-old baby was left with a bruised face after he and his mom were allegedly attacked by three women related to his father.
The mom, who only gave her name as Taylor as she wants to stay anonymous, told Fox affiliate WJBK she and her baby were attacked by the women on Thursday, Oct. 22, after they were lured to a home on Detroit’s west side.
She told the outlet the women told her they wanted to see the infant, but “came out and started jumping” her when she got there.
“As I’m handing her my car seat, she starts to, like, snatch it out of my hand,” Taylor told WJBK of one of the suspects.

Taylor claimed her baby was tossed onto the ground, giving him a swollen eye and bruising, while she said she received a 10-minute beating herself, part of which was captured on camera.
“I was just feeling blows on every part of my body,” she told the outlet. “I have knots all over my forehead. I have two swollen eyes.”
“It doesn’t matter what I said to anyone ... We didn’t deserve this,” Taylor added to the outlet.
WJBK reported that the Detroit Police Department was expected to seek charges against the three suspects and hand the case over to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.
While speaking to the outlet, Taylor told the women, “Whatever happens to you, I hope they show no mercy.”
PEOPLE has reached out to the Detroit Police Department and the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
